Who are we

We are a network of local churches in Uganda with a global vision to see our nation  and the world transformed through the love and saving power of Jesus Christ. Established in Uganda in the 80's, VFC has been touching the nation and the world for over 40 years. We believe that church is more than just a service – it’s a family where people stay connected and find meaningful relationships with each other

Leadership

Pastor Sandy Lam is the National  Missions Director for VFC Uganda. She served in Jinja and Kampala in the early 90’s and helped establish the foundation of the ministry that today includes more than 200 churches in many Districts. Her expertise is the raising up self-supporting, self-propagating Church Planting Movements, having lead CPM’s in Timor Leste and Papua New Guinea.

Pastor Darryl Woodson is the Senior Pastor of Victory City Church – Kampala, a vibrant nine campus church covering greater Kampala. There are services in Kisugu, Rubaga, Kira, Kireka, Kitetikka, Naguru, Mutungo, Central Kampala and Ntinda. They have pioneered churches in Gulu and Rwanda. Darryl’s very creative and contextualised ministry has caused the expansion of many disciple making churches. Darryl also leads our Bible School and Training Centre called Africa Theological Centre ,in Kitetikka, Kampala.

Missions

The main focus and expression of VFC Missions has always been church planting.

The Lord has enabled us to successfully plant more than 200 churches in Uganda through our Church Planting Program. Our vision is to see churches planted all our neighbouring nations and to see those churches plant churches.

Teaching & Training

We are serious about equipping believers for the work of the ministry and for Christian maturity.

We do this with teaching Bible  with the "Life In The Word (LIW)", and teaching life skills with the "School For Christian Growth (SCG)". Classes are offered either before or after services.

Ministry Involvement is encouraged with cell groups and personal discipling.

The believers Personal Development is guided through discipleship.
